For our latest leader spotlight… Mr. Forrest Grout!
Current Kidz Community role: Forrest gets to create an awesome first impression for our families as a Greeter.
How long he’s served in Kidz Community: He started in September. So he’s one of our most recent additions to the team.
How he pays the bills: He’s a Civilian D.O.D. Contractor, teaching several safety classes for government employees who travel overseas. Then he returns home to his wife and three children still at home (and two more that are grown and out of the house).
- What is the most exotic place you’ve visited? I was able to visit Babylon once, and walk around the ruins of King Nebuchadnezzar’s palace. We looked for the furnace but only found some areas darker than the rest. It’s pretty much a pile of rocks. (Forrest’s first answer was “Dollywood”.)
- Would you rather have no short-term memory, or no long-term memory? No long-term memory, I think anyone over thirty would agree…
- If you could be a professional athlete, what sport would you play? Motorcycle flat track rider (They get paid to drive Harleys. How cool is that?)
Here’s is what Forrest said he loves most about being a part of the Kidz Community team:
“Seeing the kids and hanging out with other Kidz Community leaders.”
Forrest adds some serious muscle to the team. And we think that is awesome!
